Supporting My Dog’s Transition with Quantum Touch
A couple of years ago, I had to say goodbye to my 15-year-old Australian Cattle Dog, Sirius. He had been doing so well for so long — until, quite suddenly, he wasn’t. At his age, I didn’t want to put him through surgery or aggressive medical treatments. After a lifetime together, the least I could do was keep him comfortable for as long as possible and let him go peacefully when the time came. Sirius gave me several clear signs that he was ready, so I made arrangements for someone to come to our home.
I had been running regular Quantum Touch sessions with him for some time, but in the days just before his appointment, I set the specific intention of supporting his transition — to help him feel safe, comfortable, and at peace. I could sense that while he was ready, there was still a little fear. As I continued working with him, I felt that fear gradually melt away, replaced by a feeling of completion, as though he knew he was finished here.
We spent his final day together quietly. I offered energy at intervals, and we simply enjoyed each other’s company. By the time evening came, he felt calm, peaceful, and even a little eager to move on to the next stage of his journey. The procedure was smooth and free of stress.
I am so grateful that I could support Sirius this way, helping his transition be gentle, loving, and full of peace.
